“Square hoops” with rounded corners are popular with counted thread embroiderers. The size of opening is better suited for sampler work than a round shaped hoop. The width is 5/16 inch.

Thank you, Lorna. They are the best hoops. If I didn’t say in my note, there is a lightly stamped number on the inner and outer hoops. You need to match them up to put the rings together correctly 🙂🪡🙂
